What mentor taught about success: My father was a Mentor to many students teaching DARE and great in the Joliet school districts. He has touched many life’s including my own. He taught us to succeed in life, you need to follow your dreams and reach your goals one step at a time. Get a good education to better yourself for a good job.

What mentor taught about dealing with failure: He taught me that everyone fails at something in their life and everyone makes mistakes in their life. Failure is a reality of life. He always said remind yourself that you can always try again, keep calm, keep laughing, don’t worry, expect mistakes, love yourself for who you are and don’t worry what’s others think of you.

Best advice from mentor: Always do my best Do well in school Take care of my girlfriend Take care of mom I love my Dads advice especially since he has passed away from cancer. I did not have him long, therefore now my mom is my mentor!
