Joliet Aurelio's Pizza Remodeling: "I'm So Excited With The Way Everything Came Out'

JOLIET, IL — The new ownership team for Joliet's Aurelio's Pizza Family Restaurant has finished up September's extensive remodeling project at 3101 West Jefferson Street and Aurelio's manager Kelly Fite now wants people across the Joliet region to step inside and check the place out.

"We are putting out different options daily, we are going to try new menu items for the buffet," Fite told Joliet Patch. "We're just open, get on in here! Everything is new. Come out and check out the new atmosphere."

Fite wanted people to know she tries to post Aurelio's daily specials in Brian Bessler's Joliet Area Bar and Restaurant Guide on Facebook. The Aurelio's lunch buffet is available Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and the $15 total cost includes beverage and taxes.

Fite said that September's interior remodeling project was intended to highlight the history of Joliet and Aurelio's and make it themed. The flooring was redone, and the walls are now lined with historic photos of Joliet and the Aurelio's founder.

"We just needed a remodeling, an upgrading, it was needed," Fite explained. "I want to bring in new clientele and old clientele to come try us out again."

Fite said the new ownership team for the Joliet Aurelio's is called Upper Crust, LLC.

"I'm so excited with the way everything came out," Fite remarked. "It came out exactly as planned and on time."

The Joliet Aurelio's is open seven days a week, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Wednesday, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday and Friday and 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
