Joliet Central Textbook Distribution
Joliet Central students will pick up textbooks during a Drive-Thru Distribution. In addition, if students still need to return textbooks from last year, they can bring these to the Textbook Distribution for collection. The distribution/collection is by appointment only. Please click HERE to sign up for a date and time.

We will prepare the books by student each day of distribution.  If you do not sign up, your books will not be ready, and you will need to return at a different time. If a student is unable to attend the Drive-Thru Textbook Distribution on our scheduled dates and times, contact Mr. Locke at slocke@jths.org.

During the Drive-Thru Distribution, you must stay in your vehicle at all times.  Please display the student's first and last name on a sheet of paper in the passenger window/dash.  Cars must enter the Central Campus on Herkimer Street, located on the east side of the building. When you are on Herkimer Street, proceed south toward D Door (by the Main Building and Smith Building connecting bridge).

Meal Distribution
The JTHS drive-thru meal distribution program will resume on Wednesday, August 19.  At Joliet West, meals will be distributed Monday through Thursday on days when school is in session from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. outside Door 5 (the week that textbooks are distributed) and Door 6 at West for all upcoming weeks when remote learning is in session. At Joliet Central Campus, meals can be picked up Monday through Thursday on days when school in session from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. Enter through Herkimer Street and the meal distribution set up at D door (under the bridge).

Multiple breakfasts and lunches will be distributed during a visit so that students and families only need to drive through once per week.  Meals will only be distributed to the student or family of an actively enrolled JTHS student.  Parents, guardians or students must bring their student ID card to verify enrollment.

Students who qualify for free lunch will receive meals at no charge.  Students who qualify for reduced meals will be charged 30 cents for each breakfast and 40 cents for each lunch.  Students who pay full price will be charged $2 for each breakfast and $3 for each lunch.  JTHS doesn’t except cash payments for meals, so parents and/or students must create a pre-paid account through the MySchoolBucks web site.

If your financial situation has changed, please complete the online Free and Reduced Meal Application to find out if you are eligible for free or reduced meals.
