Joliet Man Beat and Raped Woman Throughout Night Into Morning: Cops
The woman drove herself to the police station and the man was arrested.
A Joliet man beat and raped an acquaintance throughout the night Sunday and into the morning, police said.
The woman managed to drive herself to the police station shortly after 7:30 a.m. Monday. Officers reportedly observed that she had suffered bruises.
The woman told officers 43-year-old Allen Beavers beat her and forced her to have sex, and that her ordeal lasted until the morning, police said.

Beavers was picked up a short time later on Des Plaines Street. He was charged with aggravated criminal sexual assault and aggravated battery, and taken to the Will County jail.
Beavers’ bond was set at $1 million.
