JOLIET, IL— Moms do so much for everyone around them. We try to celebrate them all year long, but Mother's Day is a perfect opportunity to shout it from the rooftops and post it on Patch: Mom rocks!

What makes your Mom extra special?
My mom has a huge heart! She always goes above and beyond for her loved ones and is always so positive. She really makes an impact in my life because without her I would be lost. She is seriously the best mom and has never given up on anyone when they needed her the most. She Is a walking Saint.
Why do you feel your Mom deserves the spotlight?
She deserves the spotlight, and I wish I can help her retire sooner.
