JOLIET, IL— Moms do so much for everyone around them. We try to celebrate them all year long, but Mother's Day is a perfect opportunity to shout it from the rooftops and post it on Patch: Mom rocks!

What makes your Mom extra special?
My mom is such a special lady. She always shows her concern for others that are ill by making visits or assisting them with doctor appointments. She has such a caring heart when it comes to people and family and friends.
Why do you feel your Mom deserves the spotlight?
Because on top of having a caring personality, she is also a strong woman.
