Joliet Motel Guest Says He Slipped in Shower, So He's Suing the Place
The Joliet man is suing the owners of the Quality Inn on South Larkin.

JOLIET, IL — A Joliet man blamed the owners of a South Larkin Avenue motel for his falling down in a shower there a couple years ago, according to a lawsuit filed in Will County court.
Jerome Carr has sued Krupalu LLC, the company his suit says owns the Quality Inn on South Larkin.
Carr slipped and fell down while he was taking a shower at the Quality Inn on Jan. 11, 2014, according to his lawsuit.
The shower was not equipped with handrails or a any kind of bath mat or safety mat, the lawsuit said, and the tub had become “unreasonably slippery.”
Carr sustained “severe and permanent bodily injury” due to his tumble in the shower, the lawsuit said, and he “suffered great pain and anguish” due to the alleged ordeal.
