What are you thankful for?

I'm forever grateful for my sobriety and my children, who inspired me to seek a healthier path. After years of cycling in and out of jail and prison, trapped in a cycle of addiction, I've transformed my life. Sobriety has empowered me to break free, embracing a life of purpose and growth. Now, as a devoted parent, I cherish every moment with my children. This transformation has also fueled my career ambitions. In my second year of pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Pre-Law, I've earned a spot on the Dean's list for three consecutive semesters – an achievement unthinkable during my addiction. I've made significant changes, turning my life around, and it's all thanks to sobriety and recovery. For that, I am eternally grateful.
