Joliet Star Student: Jayce Helps Bring Toys To Children In Need

Joliet, Illinois — Star Students are found in classrooms, on concert and theater stages and at debate lecterns, and out in the community doing good things to make life better for all of us.

Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize Star Students, and we’re working to tell the stories of these outstanding kids to their neighbors.

Why do you believe the star local student should be recognized?

At the age of 4, Jayce had a dream to donate toys to children all over the world. That dream has created Just Us Boys non-profit group. Jayce's dreams have serviced for 200 families during Christmas times, held Pre-K and Kindergarten promotion ceremonies, given away school supplies for local students and also taking the time to acknowledge single mothers and fathers. Jayce is very active during all of these community events and loves to give back to others.

What's one thing you want everyone to know about the star local student?

Jayce is an intelligent, kind hearted, talented individual and truly has a heart for people everywhere.
