Joliet West And Central Host Virtual Career Panels For Students

The first district-wide virtual career exploration series featured 10 law professionals.

For the past five years, Joliet West librarians and academy coordinators have collaborated in putting together a series of Academy Career Weeks to promote career exploration among students. A few years later, Joliet Central academy coordinators and librarians began the program for Central students, and this week, the program expanded further with librarians from both schools joining together to kick off the first district-wide virtual career exploration series with a Forensics & Law Career Panel featuring 10 law professionals in our community.

Using Zoom, the professionals shared information about their careers and answered student questions.
