Joliet Woman, 70, Lands In Will County Jail Following Domestic At Her House: Police

Baietti-Van Horn was placed into custody without incident, Joliet police announced.

JOLIET, IL — A 70-year-old Joliet woman has been set free from the Will County Jail after spending three days in custody on domestic battery charges. A resident of the 800 block of Grand Boulevard, Martistella Baietti-Van Horn was taken into custody at her house on Friday afternoon following a domestic disturbance, police said.

Shortly before 3 p.m., police say officers learned that Baietti-Van Horn had allegedly attacked an adult woman by scratching her neck during an argument in the house.

The victim had visible injuries from the confrontation. Baietti-Van Horn was placed into custody without incident. Will County Jail records show that Baietti-Van Horn was let out of the jail before 5 p.m. Sunday.
