Joliet Woman Vanishes: Joliet Police

JOLIET, IL — On Nov. 1, Joliet police said missing woman Selene Turner was found safe.

On Tuesday afternoon, Joliet police issued another Facebook alert seeking help in finding 58-year-old Selene Turner, who has diminished cognitive capacity, police revealed. She disappeared earlier in the day on Tuesday from the 1400 block of Addleman Street.

She was last seen wearing a long-sleeved tan shirt with a Mickey Mouse T-shirt underneath. She had tan pants and gray boots. She is believed to be carrying a giraffe print bag and a khaki or green parka. She may be wearing glasses, and is wearing a copper-colored bracelet on her left wrist.

Joliet police need people to call them at 911 or 815-726-2491 if they have information about Turner's whereabouts.
