Joliet Woman Would Give Her Last Dollar To Help Someone: Local Heroes

JOLIET, IL — When times are tough, heroes emerge. We all know someone who's making a difference right now as we live through unprecedented and changing times. Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize these heroes making a difference in their communities. We’re working to let all your neighbors know about these outstanding people and their stories.

Helps local families and homeless in the Area

Why do you believe the local hero should be recognized or honored?

Michal would give her last dollar or the jacket off her back to help someone, she goes out daily feeding homeless & families in need of food. Families contact her if they ever need something & Michal would figure it out to help them. When the weather gets bad, she will drive around, checking in on the homeless to make sure they are warm & safe. During the holidays, she has toy drives on fb page, People helping people in Will County page. She's a true angel to everyone & I'm thankful to be her friend.

What's one thing you want everyone to know about the local hero?

She's a blessing to everyone she meets & she always puts everyone first before herself.
