JPD Takes On JFD In Guns-N-Hoses Softball Game
Half of ticket sales for the Guns-N-Hoses event will go to charity.
JOLIET, IL — The 2019 Guns-N-Hoses charity softball game and Superhero Night are tonight, July 18th, at the Joliet Slammers Stadium.
The Joliet Police Department will be taking on the Joliet Fire Department at the 5 p.m. game, two hours before the regularly scheduled Slammers game at 7 p.m. Gates open at 4:30 p.m. at the stadium at 1 Mayor Art Schultz Dr.
It will also be Superhero Night, which will include police and fire demonstrations like touch-a-truck by both departments, a pre-game police K9 unit demonstration and a performance by the Joliet Police Pipes and Drums.

Superhero characters will be available for photos on the concourse.
After the Slammers game, there will be a superhero-themed fireworks show.

Tickets cost $10 each, and half goes to Easterseals Joliet.
