Latest Eden's Bar Shooting: Joliet Police Arrest Felon From Clublands
Joliet's overnight shooting of two adult women and one adult man at Eden Bar and Grill, 926 Gardner Street, on Sept. 22.

JOLIET — The Joliet Police Department has solved another shooting, and this one involved three people who were shot inside an east side of Joliet bar that has been the site of multiple shootings over the years.
On Saturday, Joliet police announced that a 33-year-old a resident from the Clublands Subdivision in the Plainfield area, Keenan Watt, was captured, and he's now at the Will County Jail charged with three counts of aggravated battery, armed habitual criminal and aggravated unlawful use of a weapon by a convicted felon.
According to police spokesman Dwayne English, the shooting of two women and one man happened at Eden Bar and Grill, 926 Gardner St., in the early morning hours of Sept. 22. Joliet police said at the time that the 29-year-old man sustained three gunshot wounds to his lower body, a 31-year-old woman sustained a gunshot wound to her right ankle, and a 25-year-old woman sustained a gunshot wound to the right leg.

All the gunshot wounds are believed to be non-life threatening.
In the weeks that followed, Joliet's detectives identified Watt as their suspect responsible for shooting the victims from outside the establishment. Detectives obtained an arrest warrant for Watt on Oct. 15 and on Friday, shortly after 8 p.m., the U.S. Marshals Great Lakes Fugitive Task Force learned that Watt was inside a residence in the 7700 block of Oleander Drive in the Clublands Subdivision on Joliet’s far west side.

Members of the Joliet Police Special Operation Squad and Crisis Negotiation Team responded and a perimeter was established around the house.
A short time later, Watt exited the front door, and he was placed into custody without incident by Special Operation Squad members.
The Joliet Police Department thanked the U.S. Marshals Great Lakes Fugitive Task Force and the Will County State’s Attorney Office for their assistance in this case.
