Law Enforcement Memorial Ceremony May 11
The ceremony will be on the north side of the courthouse.

JOLIET, IL — This year's Law Enforcement Memorial Ceremony will be May 11 on the north side of the courthouse.
The ceremony is at noon. Prior to the ceremony, there will be a 10:30 a.m. Mass at St. Mary Magdalene Church on South Briggs Street.
Event organizers have invited the public to attend.

"Plan your lunchtime outside and join us as the Joliet police officers, Will County Sheriff’s Office,
Illinois State Police and other municipal police departments present this moving ceremony dedicated
to area officers who have lost their lives in the line of duty," reads a flier describing the ceremony. "This ceremony coincides with National Police Week where memorial ceremonies will be held in Washington, D.C., and across the nation."
