Man, 51, Dead After Being Ejected From Motorcycle Near I-80: Cops
Police said the man struck a guardrail while traveling northbound on South Chicago Street. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
JOLIET, IL — A 51-year-old motorcycle driver is dead after police said he struck a guardrail while heading northbound near Interstate 80.
Officials responded to the scene of the crash at around 3:32 a.m. Friday in the area of South Chicago Street.
According to preliminary investigation, police said the man, a Rockdale resident, was ejected from his motorcycle after hitting the guardrail. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Will County Coroner's Office has not released the man's name.
The Joliet Police Department Traffic Unit said the investigation is ongoing.
