JOLIET, IL — The Joliet Police Department informed Joliet Patch on Wednesday that detectives trying to find missing 35-year-old Terhan Gordon, have discovered his vehicle. The silver Pontiac G6 sedan that Gordon was believed to be driving at the time of his disappearance was found abandoned and is now in the possession of the Joliet Police Department.
Joliet police have not disclosed where Gordon's vehicle was discovered, based on the fact that it's an ongoing investigation.
According to police spokesman Dwayne English, as part of the ongoing investigation into Gordon's June disappearance, Joliet police detectives conducted a search within the past week of a wooded area near the 600 block of Woodruff Road in Joliet utilizing K9s and drones. A secondary search of the same area was completed on Wednesday morning by the newly formed Joliet Citizen Emergency Response Team. Family and friends of Gordon were also present during Monday's search. Despite these efforts, nothing of evidentiary value was located, English revealed.
