JOLIET — While 20-year-old Plainfield co-defendant Dylan Debolt remains incarcerated down in Georgia, Joliet police announced that a second person — Dakhari Jaudon — is now in custody at the Will County Jail in connection with the Theodore Street shootout that caused several thousand dollars damage to several businesses, including Merichka's.

According to Joliet police spokesman Dwayne English, his agency's detectives were notified that Will County Sheriff's deputies arrested the 22-year-old Jaudon late last week.

"As this investigation progressed, Joliet Police Detectives were able to identify Dakhari Jaudon as being involved in the shooting on April 2, 2024, in the 600 block of Theodore Street," English said in Monday's press release.
