Morning Snow on the Way
And your New Year's Eve countdown will be cold, cold, cold. Also, Monday's sleet set a record.

Snow will fall ahead of and during Wednesday morning’s commute in the Chicago area, with accumulation estimated at 1 to 2 inches, according to the National Weather Service.
Expect the snow just before 6 a.m. and likely through the evening hours.
On the bright side, no sleet, no freezing rain, and no wing gusts. Breezes will be a relatively calm 5 to 10 miles per hour. The high temperature will be near 34. The evening hours bring a high chance of flurries, with winds increasing to 15 mph.
