Motorist Falls Asleep Behind Wheel At Joliet Intersection: Joliet PD
Jose Reza also received citations for no valid driver's license and improper parking, and the vehicle was towed from the scene.

JOLIET —It doesn't happen very often, perhaps only once every several months, but members of the Joliet Police Department working the overnight shift do occasionally encounter drivers who pull up to an intersection and fall asleep behind the wheel.
It happened again over the weekend and resulted in the arrest of 44-year-old Joliet resident Jose Reza. He was arrested and released on a notice to appear on charges of aggravated DUI.
According to Joliet police spokesman Dwayne English, at 12:21 a.m. Sunday, officers were sent to the area of Henderson Avenue and Virginia Street for a report of an unconscious man in the driver seat of a vehicle at the intersection.

Upon arrival, the officers found the vehicle and saw Reza in the driver's seat, according to English. Officers were able to wake Reza, who demonstrated behaviors of possible alcohol impairment, and he indicated he had consumed alcohol prior to driving, police said.
Reza completed field sobriety tests, and was placed into custody without incident. Reza also received citations for no valid driver’s license and improper parking, and the vehicle was towed from the scene, English said.
