New Chick-fil-A In Joliet Opens Next Week, Creating 90 Jobs For Community
Becoming a local owner-operator has been so rewarding for me and my family, Kris Yoder remarked.

JOLIET, IL — Several months after the empty Steak-N-Shake restaurant building was bulldozed, Joliet is now ready to welcome its second Chick-fil-A restaurant to the community.
The company issued a press release on Thursday morning announcing it will begin serving the Joliet community at its newest location on Thursday, Aug. 21, creating approximately 90 jobs. Chick-fil-A, Inc. selected Kris Yoder as the local owner-operator of Chick-fil-A Larkin Ave., marking his second restaurant in the greater Chicagoland area.
To celebrate the restaurant opening, Yoder and team are calling on the community to show their spots on opening day. Whether it’s a full cow suit or a simple cow-spotted accessory, any guest who visits the restaurant on opening day dressed in cow attire can redeem one free entrée or kid’s meal inside the restaurant or in the drive-thru, the company announced.
