Next-Door Neighbor's Cat Attacked Bolingbrook Woman: Lawsuit

The woman did nothing to provoke the attack, the lawsuit said.

BOLINGBROOK, IL — A Bolingbrook woman suffered “disfigurement, incapacitation” and other unspecified injuries when her next-door neighbor’s cat attacked her, according to a lawsuit filed in Will County court.

Dolores Spexet did nothing to provoke the December cat attack, the lawsuit said.

The cat, which the suit said is named “Diesel,” allegedly left the property of its owner, Nancy Bahrs, and made its way next door.

There, Diesel “attacked and bit/scratched” Spexet, the lawsuit said.

Spexet wants at least $50,000.
