Pamela M. Spotofora, passed away peacefully at the age of 76, on Saturday, December 20, 2025, at Silver Cross Hospital. She was born on December 13, 1949, in Joliet to the late Martin and Irene (nee Jagodzinski) Chinderle. Pam graduated from St. Mary Nativity Grade School in 1963, and then from St. Francis Academy in 1967.

Pam found great joy in working in her yard, especially planting and tending to her flowers. She loved to dance and had a deep passion for her cooking. Her family was always the center of her life, and she took great pride in supporting her grandchildren, faithfully attending their events and cheering them on. A true homebody in the best sense, she cherished being at home, and found happiness in welcoming family and friends into her home, where love was always felt.

Pam is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Philip; children, Stacy (Patrick) Delaney, Christopher (Keri) Spotofora, and Cori (Mike) Rudland; grandchildren, Rudy (Ally), Casey (Amanda) and Abby Delaney, Luke, Jake, and Vinny Spotofora, and Nate and Mitch Rudland; great-grandson, Dominic Delaney; brothers, Martin (Debi) Chinderle, and Brian (Mary Ann) Chinderle; sister-in-law, Patti Chinderle; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Lo (Ken) Leonard; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Stephen Chinderle.

Funeral Services for Pamela M. Spotofora will be held at 9:15 a.m. on Tuesday, December 30, 2025, from the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black Rd., Joliet, IL, to Holy Family Catholic Church, where a Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday, December 29, 2025, from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m.
