Old Lady Scratched Driver During Road Rage Dustup: Cops

JOLIET, IL — An old lady from Romeoville banged on another woman’s car and then reached through the window to scratch her face, police said.

The 81-year-old woman, Noreen Becker, was reportedly displeased about getting blocked into her parking spot outside the Best Buy near the Louis Mall.

A 41-year-old woman had apparently blocked Becker’s 1996 Buick LeSabre when she stopped to let a passenger out, police said.

Becker pounded on the other woman’s car, then reached inside and scratched her, police said.

There were no scratch marks on the younger woman’s face but a witness corroborated her story, police said.

Becker got a ticket charging her with battery.
