Painful Pedicure Left Woman Suffering: Lawsuit

JOLIET, IL — A woman’s foot was cut during a pedicure and the injury was so severe she should be paid tens of thousands of dollars, according to a lawsuit filed in Will County court.

Candis Lee was getting a pedicure at Four Seasons Nails in January 2016 when “skin and subcutaneous tissue were cut from (her) foot,” the lawsuit said. This was due to the negligence and carelessness” of the Bolingbrook nail salon, according to the suit.

Lee “experienced pain and suffering” and had to pay medical bills, the suit said. She’s after at least $50,000.
