JOLIET, IL — A passed out, drunken driver blocked the drive-thru at a west side McDonald’s, police said, and unfortunately for him had a cop waiting in line behind him.
The police lieutenant who was waiting in line at the drive-thru about 7:30 p.m. Sunday called for another squad car to come to the McDonald’s on West Jefferson Street and Woodlawn Avenue. The second officer found 28-year-old Jose Contreras of Joliet passed out behind the wheel of his Chevy Colorado with his foot on the brake, police said.
Contreras was arrested and taken to the Will County jail. The cops had his pickup truck towed away.
