Pepper Spray Deployed At The Forge As 2 Get Arrested: Joliet Police

Both Oklahomans were located in the 100 block of Ottawa Street and were placed into custody without incident, Joliet police advised.

JOLIET, IL — A pair of young men visiting Joliet from the state of Oklahoma, 20-year-old Devin Bradley of Edmond and 32-year-old Dajuan Woods of Hugo, were both arrested following a violent incident over Memorial Day weekend at The Forge in downtown Joliet, arrest reports show.

The two were arrested and released from custody after getting their notices to appear in court on charges of aggravated battery.

Joliet police reports show that at 2:34 a.m. May 25, officers responded to The Forge at 22 W. Cass St. for a report of a disturbance outside the business.

According to police, Bradley and Woods were standing outside the business and were asked to leave by a security guard. Police allege that Bradley and Woods became argumentative and began to fight with a male security guard, striking him in the face, police spokesman Dwayne English said.

The security guard deployed pepper spray, and Bradley and Woods ran from the area, police said. Both were found in the 100 block of Ottawa Street and were placed into custody without incident.
