Defendants talk with Joliet Police
At the Joliet police station, Lopez and Dominici told the officers that they lived at the Star Inn Motel for several months, were unemployed and selling drugs for money. Lopez and Dominici "admitted to having access to the safe in the room," court records show.
As for the child, Joliet police turned the child over to Lopez's mother.
Will County Jail records indicate that 30-year-old Dominici, who hails from the 600 block of Romeoville's Belmont Drive, got out of the Will County Jail on Saturday afternoon. The 34-year-old Lopez, who lives in the 2200 block of Joliet's Greystone Drive, was also freed from the county detention facility on Saturday afternoon, just like Dominici.
