Raising Cane's Public Indecency Defendant Captured: Joliet PD
Upon delivering the food, the Raising Cane's employee immediately reported the incident to a manager and Joliet police were called.

JOLIET — The Joliet Police Department has arrested the 26-year-old city resident who is accused of publicly masturbating at the Raising Cane's restaurant on Plainfield Road.
According to Joliet police, Jose Chocolatl was arrested in recent days and subsequently released from custody after being given his notice to appear in court for two counts of public indecency.
The Joliet police investigation into the incident took over a month.

According to police spokesman Dwayne English:
On April 7, 2024, at 1:47 p.m., the officers responded to the Raising Canes at 3000 Plainfield Road for a public indecency incident.

Officers learned that while a 16-year-old female employee tried to deliver food from an online order to an Acura sedan in the parking lot, the male driver was seen by the victim to have his genitals exposed and was actively masturbating.
Upon delivering the food, the employee immediately reported the incident to a manager and police were called.
It was learned that Chocolatl’s information was contained on the online order for the food. Detectives used this and other information to identify Chocolatl as the suspect, and they secured an arrest warrant for two counts of Public Indecency on May 10.
On May 15, at 5:27 p.m., Joliet police responded to Chocolatl’s residence in the 2400 block of Meridian Drive and placed him into custody without incident.
