Reckless Driver Arrested By Joliet Police Explains Reason For Speeding: JPD
Tremayne Cherry was also cited for speeding and having no front registration plate, and his vehicle was towed from the scene.

JOLIET, IL — Police announced the arrest of 34-year-old Tremayne Cherry of Joliet on two charges, reckless driving and reckless conduct, in connection with a weekend traffic stop.
According to the police, at 12:20 a.m. Sunday, the officers on patrol saw a Chevrolet Suburban near Henderson Avenue and Benton Street traveling at a high rate of speed, and it appeared to chase another vehicle.
Officers initially lost sight of the Chevrolet but located both vehicles near Cass Street and Collins Street and a traffic stop was initiated. Cherry was identified as the driver of the Chevrolet. Police said that Cherry had been attempting to chase down the mother of his child, saying she was driving the other vehicle. Cherry admitted to speeding and driving recklessly while chasing the other vehicle to the officers and was placed into custody without incident, the arrest reports show.

Cherry was also cited for Speeding and No Front Registration Plate, and the vehicle was towed from the scene.
