Revenge Porn Creep Gets 4 Months in Jail For Posting Ex’s Sex Video
The woman said she did not even know he had the sex video.

Posting a sex video of a former girlfriend on a pornographic website and identifying her by her complete name landed a New Lenox man in jail on a four-month sentence.
Matthew Schwertfeger, 31, had pleaded guilty to a single count of posting identifying information on a pornographic internet site prior to his sentencing. Charges of intimidation, cyberstalking and possessing hydrocodone were dismissed.

"Matthew posted on the Internet video of Matthew and myself having sex," the Crete woman wrote in a petition for a protective order.
"I did not know he had such a tape," she wrote. "He also posted personal information about me."
The criminal indictment filed against Schwertfeger said he threatened to post their sex video unless she spoke with him on the phone.

In her petition, the woman said she was going to change her name since Schwertfeger identified her by her first, middle and last names — and gave her address — when he posted the video.
Special prosecutor Dave Neal said he hopes the jail sentence “keeps someone else from being victimized.”
“The people who commit this crime need to know that they had better be prepared to go to jail,” Neal said.
Neal was appointed to the case after Schwertfeger threatened to withhold his testimony in an unrelated criminal case if he did not get special “consideration” with regard to his revenge porn charges, according to a court filing.
The case Schwertfeger allegedly refused to cooperate on involved a Joliet man beating him up outside the west side bar Paulie's Pub in October 2012.
Despite Schwertfeger’s threat to keep silent, 29-year-old Nicholas Raman was still found guilty of punching him in the head.
