Roaches-For-Snakes Deal Gone Bad - Frankfort Man Ripped Off in Trade For $13K Worth of Roaches: Lawsuit
He agreed to trade six ball pythons for the roaches, the lawsuit said.

FRANKFORT, IL — A Frankfort man was ripped off in a deal to trade six ball pythons for $13,000 worth of roaches, according to a lawsuit filed in Will County court.
Wayne Wasily claimed in his lawsuit that he shipped six snakes via FedEx to Florida resident Branden Vullo in April 2015.
Vullo received the snakes the next day, the lawsuit said, but never got around to sending the $13,000 worth of Dubia roaches he had agreed to give Wasily in return, the lawsuit said.

Vullo “eventually admitted to (Wasily) that he never had the roaches promised in his possession,” the suit said.
The agreed upon price for the roaches, according to the lawsuit, ranged from “$15 per 1,000 ‘small’ roaches” to “$75 per 1,000 ‘extra-large’ roaches.”
