Beloved Father, Grandfather and Companion. Retired Commonwealth Edison Employee
Robert “Bob” S. Harrison
Passed away at Lightways Hospice Home, Wednesday, June 25, 2025 at the age of 87 years.
He is survived by his three loving children, Susan (James) Ceplecha, Michael Harrison, and Gregg (Darla) Harrison. His cherished grandchildren, Lauren (Aaron) Call, Hannah (Skye) Smith, Brandon Ceplecha, Jason, Blake, and Austin Harrison. His dear companion, Karen Repko, along with her family.
Preceded in death by his beloved wife JoAnn Harrison (Demick) (1993). Two brothers Edward “Eddie” (Lydia) Harrison and William Harrison. His sister Dorothy (Thomas) Surinak.

Born June 16, 1938 in Decatur, Illinois, Bob was the son of the late William S. and Margaret Harrison. He was raised in Joliet and was a proud graduate of Joliet Township High School, Class of 1956. Bob retired from Commonwealth Edison in 1993, where he formed many lifelong friendships. He enjoyed golfing, bowling, and breakfast gatherings with fellow ComEd retirees. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Joliet.
Funeral services will be held at the Carlson-Holmquist-Sayles Funeral Home & Crematory, 2320 Black Rd., Thursday, July 10th at 11:00 A.M. Rev. Bo Mircea officiating. Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Lightways Hospice will be appreciated. Visitation will be held Thursday, July 10th from 9:00 A.M. until time of services at 11:00 A.M.
