Sex Offender Shoved Girlfriend Through Wall, Choked Her: Cops
The convicted sex offender has failed to register for nearly three years.

Jay Moore, 36, allegedly put a three-foot hole in the wall of his girlfriend’s Robin Lane home and choked her until she couldn’t breathe.
The children, ages 3, 5, and 6, were present for the 10:30 p.m. Friday attack, police said. Moore, an Oak Park resident, is reportedly the father of at least one of the children.
Before shoving and choking his 31-year-old girlfriend, Moore took away her cell phone, police said. He then allegedly ignored an order to leave the residence, choosing instead to lay down on the couch.
The girlfriend grabbed her phone out of Moore’s pocket, police said, and that was when he jumped up and pushed her into the wall.
Moore left the home before officers arrived but they found him nearby on the corner of Princeton Street and Hawthorne Place.
After Moore was taken into custody, officers reportedly learned there was a warrant for his arrest out of McDonough County.
Moore had been convicted of a sex offense in the central Illinois county in 1999 and is required to register with the state every three months, police said. He had allegedly neglected to do so since February 2013.
Moore was taken to the Will County jail.
