Shih Tzu Dangled In Air By Collar, Cop Got Kicked: Police

A man facing an animal cruelty case for allegedly dangling a shi tzu in the air by its collar is wanted for skipping court.

Ian Boyd, 30, was also charged with kicking a police officer and resisting arrest.

Boyd, a Steger resident, did his dangling and kicking back in April, police said. He was arrested and released on his own recognizance.

Boyd skipped court May 20 and a warrant was issued for his arrest, according to county records. He remains at large.
