Shocking Details Revealed in Alleged Pervert's Kidnapping Case
The Joliet man allegedly terrorized and abused four different youths before he was locked up.

Erick Rodriguez, 26, abducted a teen at knifepoint from the corner of Taylor Street and Plainfield Road, then took him to Sator Sanchez Elementary School on the east side “with the intent to secretly confine him against his will,” according to a criminal complaint on file in Will County court.
At some point, while in a car, Rodriguez “placed his penis” in the teen’s hand and “made the victim masturbate him,” the complaint said.
The kidnapped youth was at least 13 but no older than 17, the complaint said. Rodriguez allegedly kidnapped and abused the teen in September.
Rodriguez was arrested and jailed five months later in connection with the alleged rape and blackmail of a different teenage boy. He was charged with extorting a 16-year-old for more than a year, forcing the teen to have sex with him in exchange for keeping a secret video of the two of them under wraps.
Then, three weeks ago, prosecutors brought two more cases against Rodriguez.
In one, Rodriguez was charged with grabbing and attempting to rape a child in January near the corner of Buell Avenue and Nicholson Street.
Four months before that, Rodriguez groped the buttocks of a child in the Jewel on West Jefferson Street, according to the criminal complaint for the third case.
Rodriguez’s bond had already been set at $1.5 million for his first case. His bond for the attempted rape case is another million, and the Jewel groping charge carried a $50,000 bond. Rodriguez’s bond for the kidnapping case was set at $1.5 million.
The Joliet police have yet to release any information on the alleged kidnapping.
