Skimmer Sought — Scam Device Spotted, Scammer at Large
A skimming device was located but the man who installed it remains at large.
JOLIET, IL — The Joliet police say they have located a skimming device installed in an ATM at a local gas station and are now searching for the crook who put it there.
The device was installed in the last month, police said, and the scheming thief who put it there was caught on camera.
Skimming secretly devices record information from credit, debit and ATM cards so crooks can steal your identity.

The police want anyone with information on the pictured person to call Detective Jeff German at 815-724-3029. Tipsters can also make anonymous calls to Crimestoppers of Will County at 800-323-6734 or go through the Crimestoppers website.
