Slain Couple Was Beaten to Death: Coroner
The man and woman both suffered multiple blows to their heads, an autopsy revealed.
JOLIET, IL — The man and woman found slain in a Cass Street body shop Wednesday morning were beaten to death, autopsies revealed.
Michael Oram, 48, and Jamie Wills, 43, both suffered multiple blows to their heads, according to Will County Coroner Patrick O’Neil’s office.
Oram and Wills were found dead inside Fleet Specialty Painting on Cass Near Bissel Street. Oram’s father owns the body shop, sources said.
The autopsies were performed Thursday.
Police have yet to release additional information on the double murder Thursday.
