Stabber Jailed For April Attack: Cops

The Calumet City man was charged with aggravated battery.

JOLIET, IL — A Calumet City man was locked up Friday morning in connection with an alleged April knife attack.

Calvin McIntosh, 46, was booked into the Will County jail on two counts of felony aggravated battery.

McIntosh allegedly stabbed a 26-year-old man on April 11.

The Will County Sheriff’s Department investigated the alleged stabbing and brought the charges against McIntosh. The sheriff’s department provided no further information about the case.

A warrant for McIntosh’s arrest was obtained July 27, according to court records. The warrant carries a $50,000 bond.
