Stabbing In Joliet Lands Homeless Woman In Will County Jail For 4th Time
Joliet police arrested Arionte Lusby. It's her fourth time in the Will County Jail since 2023.

JOLIET, IL — The Joliet Police Department has captured a 26-year-old homeless woman in connection with a June 7 stabbing incident of another woman. As a result of the attack, prosecutors have charged Arionete Lusby with two counts of aggravated and unlawful possession of a weapon by a felon. The complaint indicates that Lusby stabbed her victim with a knife —and that she cut the victim with the knife as well.
Lusby has a 2023 Will County felony conviction for aggravated battery to a police officer, meaning was unlawful of her to have a dangerous knife in her possession, the court files show.
In 2023, Joliet Patch reported that while most of Joliet was sound asleep, an irate 24-year-old woman was hitting and kicking a door, challenging an apartment dweller to a fight, according to Joliet police.
