Elgindy will discuss issues surrounding granting people power of attorney to make financial or health care decisions for senior citizens. A power of attorney gives another person, the agent, the authority to make health care or financial decisions should a senior citizen become incapacitated or unable to make decisions.
Glasgow will discuss what can occur when criminals obtain power of attorney and use the accounts of trusting senior citizens for their own financial gain. He also will also discuss how senior citizens can protect themselves in these and other financial situations.
