Statewide Child Porn Operation Nabs Joliet Man: AG
The Joliet man was arrested as part of "Operation Glass House."

Joliet, IL — A Joliet man was jailed as part of a statewide crackdown on child pornography.
Anthony Rutten, 26, was arrested Wednesday and charged with two counts of possessing child pornography.
Investigators from the Illinois Attorney General’s Office raided Rutten’s Pecan Street home and found “evidence of alleged child pornography,” according to a statement released by the attorney general.

The Will County Sheriff’s Department and Homeland Security assisted in the search, the statement said.
Rutten was investigated as part of “Operation Glass House,” a “statewide initiative to apprehend the most active offenders who download and trade child pornography online,” according to the statement.

The operation was launched in August 2010. Rutten’s arrest was the 82nd made in that time.
Rutten was scheduled to appear in court Thursday afternoon.
