Taste of Joliet Sizzles With 100 Degree Temps, Huge Crowd At Hispanic Music Day: 10 Photos
Joliet businessman and City Councilman Cesar Cardenas was ecstatic with Sunday's turnout considering the 100-degree heat.

JOLIET, IL — Sunday marked at least the third year in a row that Joliet's Hispanic population flocked to Memorial Stadium in the thousands. They danced, they sang, and they listened to some of their favorite Hispanic music performers take center stage during the third and final day of Taste of Joliet.
Sunday's music lineup featured Los de La Homan, Grupo Rival and Los Rieleros, which has more than 1.6 million Facebook followers. Joliet city leaders including city manager Beth Beatty, Mayor Terry D'Arcy and Councilman Cesar Cardenas were on hand for the event.
In addition to posting several live videos featuring Sunday's performers, here's a photo gallery I created from the final day of the Joliet Park District's highly successful Taste of Joliet celebration.
