Teen Showed Dirty Movie to Minor: Police

A Monee teen was charged with showing a dirty movie to a minor.

Jaylin Hopkins, 18, “knowingly distributed material that depicts nudity,” according to a complaint on file in Will County court.

That material, the complaint said, was a “video portraying two individuals engaged in sexual intercourse,” and Hopkins showed it to a minor with the initials “K.M.”

The complaint says K.M. is younger than the 18-year-old Hopkins but does not provide a specific age.

The Monee police did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Hopkins is free on his own recognizance. He made his initial court appearance on the single count of distribution of harmful material Tuesday.
