Tequila Thief Bloodied Security Guard, Knocked Off His Glasses: Cops
The Joliet woman stole tequila from Jewel, police said.

Tenia Carver, 30, slipped three bottles of tequila into her purse, paid for a bottle of wine and began to make her way out of the North Larkin Avenue supermarket shortly before 7:30 p.m. Friday, police said.
But before Carver could leave, a 56-year-old security guard stopped her. The guard identified himself as security, police said, and Carver responded by slapping him in the face, sending his eyeglasses flying.
Carver proceeded to hit and kick the guard, police said, but he was eventually able to knock her down and handcuff her.
The guard reportedly suffered scratches and cuts to his face and hands.
Carver was taken to the Will County jail.
