He claimed he "collects bombs" and "would like to take things out on the football team," police said.

WILMINGTON, IL — A local man threatened to blow up the Wilmington High School football team with bombs he “collects,” according to a criminal complaint on file in Will County court.
Charles Janulis, 49, was jailed late Friday night — the same night the Wildcats improved to 6-0 with a 20-14 win over Lisle — on a felony threat charge and a misdemeanor count of disorderly conduct.
Janulis’ bond was set at $40,000. He remains in custody.

Janulis made the threat to Wilmington School District Assistant Superintendent Kevin Feeney, the complaint said. He allegedly told Feeney “he collects bombs and would like to take things out on the football team, at 715 South Joliet Street, the Wilmington High School football field.”
Janulis allegedly made the threat Sept. 16, the same day Wilmington’s football team defeated Peotone at home 48-10.
