Trespassing Arrest Made In This Joliet Neighborhood: Police

JOLIET, IL — The Joliet Police Department announced that 24-year-old Mokena resident Baldomero Delatorre was arrested and given a notice to appear in court on charges of disorderly conduct and obstructing identification.

The Joliet police announced that at 10:20 p.m. June 16, officers responded to a residence in the 400 block of Irving Street for a report of male trespassing on a porch. The officers found Delatorre on the porch and learned that the resident did not want him there.

Police said Delatorre initially provided a false name to the officers. He was detained and placed into a squad car while the officers continued their investigation.

According to the arrest reports, Delatorre then called 911 while he was detained, requesting additional the officers even though there was no additional emergency taking place at the scene.

Delatorre eventually provided his name, and he was taken into custody without further incident, police said.
