Troy HR Director Gets Doctorate
Superintendent Todd Koehl said Schrik's achievement will serve the district and its students well.

SHOREWOOD, IL — Paul Schrik, Director of Human Resources at Troy Community School District 30-C, was recently awarded his doctorate of education degree, Ed.D., from Northern Illinois University.

“Dr. Schrik's diligence in completing his doctorate is a clear reflection of his work ethic and commitment,” Koehl said. “This same characteristic permeates all his work, and our district is the beneficiary. We are quite proud of him.”
Schrik also has his Education Specialist Degree, Ed.S., from NIU, his Chief School Business Official designation from NIU, and his Masters of Educational Administration, M.Ed., from Illinois State University.

His doctoral dissertation was titled, “An investigation of elementary school principals – self-efficacy beliefs, their goal expectations of student achievement, and their impact on student achievement.”
His study of Illinois grade school principals found that the outcome expectations of principals did impact student achievement.
