Update: Fatal Hit-And-Run Capped Bar Parking Lot Fight And Shooting: Cops
As many as 10 men and two women were involved in the altercation outside El Rodeo bar, police said.

As many as 10 men and two women took part in the melee outside the Jackson Street tavern, police said. One of them, 30-year-old Rigoberto Medina-Valdez, 30, was hit by a car and killed.
Police said they don’t know if Medina-Valdez was hit by a member of his own faction or the other group.
Shots were reportedly fired during the 2 a.m. fight.
Tempers flared when two men and two women walked past a group of six to eight men in the bar, police said. The groups headed out to the parking lot and Medina-Valdez was run over by a driver who fled the scene.
Police had yet to determine if Medina-Valdez was one of the men with the women or if he was in the group that followed them outside.
Medina-Valdez was jailed the afternoon of Jan. 21 — just 10 days before he was killed. He had been wanted for failing to appear on a petition to revoke his probation, according to court records.
Medina was put on probation for an obstructing identification conviction. He had pleaded guilty to lying about his name to a police officer.
Medina-Valdez was released from the Will County jail the morning after he had been taken into custody.
